Financial Aid refunds will be deposited directly into a bank account of your choice typically within 5 business days of disbursement if you have completed the online bank information form for direct deposit refunds. Federal regulation allows for this process to take up to 14 days.

Apply for Financial Aid
Accessing financial aid begins by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid. Be sure to use Governors State University's School Code 009145.
