Governors State University Board of Trustees - Student Representative
Lluvia Hernandez Aguirre is a first-generation Mexican-American and is the first in her family to attend college and receive a degree. She received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus in Management and a minor in Psychology from Governors State University in 2023.
She is currently pursuing her MBA at Governors State University as well, and is planning to join Grace Infrastructure Company, a general contracting construction company based in Lemont, as an Assistant Project Manager upon completion of her degree.
Lluvia currently works in Governors State University's Office of Admissions as a Graduate Assistant and also serves as the Student Trustee on the Board of Trustees and as the VP for the Association of Latin American Students (ALAS).
