    Governors State University partners with APICS - Chicago Chapter to provide real-world opportunities in the Operations, Production and Supply Chain Management field of study.  GSU Supply Chain student club is active in student case competitions, free professional development meetings along with endless networking opportunities and a annual student conference admission.  GSU has two certified instructors to lead our club, Dr John Simon, CSCP and Dr Tricia Kerns, CPIM, CLTD, Associate trainer.

    Attention all GovState Students 

    The College of Business is excited to introduce the Gavel Club, a new student organization in the College of Business.  Affiliated with Toastmasters International, this club offers a unique opportunity for students to develop public speaking, communication, and leadership skills in a supportive and structured environment. With no membership dues or charter fees, the Gavel Club provides a welcoming space to practice prepared speeches, engage in impromptu speaking, and receive constructive feedback. Meetings follow the proven Toastmasters format, helping students build confidence, think critically, and collaborate effectively. Whether you're looking to enhance your presentation skills or prepare for future leadership roles, this club is an excellent way to grow.
