Wellness is generally used to mean a healthy balance of the mind, body, and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being.
Meditation and Interfaith Room - A2140
Consistent with its focus on diversity and
inclusion, GovState is committed to treating people of all faiths fairly and
to providing the GovState Community with access to facilities for personal
observation of their faith traditions, quiet contemplation, and
reflection.
Accordingly, the Meditation and Interfaith Room will
be available through the academic calendar in the Jaguar Den, Room A2140. This
room is an accessible space, which can be used by people of all faith
traditions and beliefs, as well as for those for whom religion has no
particular significance in their lives. The room may be used as a quiet
space for people to sit and contemplate, pray, reflect, restore
themselves, recover from a traumatic life event; such as bereavement, or simply take a few moments to de-stress from a busy day.
