FACULTY PROFILE
Cari Didion is an Associate Professor of Library and Information Science. She has an academic background in science education, library and information science, and higher education leadership. She holds master’s degrees from the University of Georgia and San Jose State University and is pursuing a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies.
As the interim department chair for the library, she is involved with expanding the library's OER materials. In 2023, she received an OER Campus Kickstart Award for Growing Illinois OER Programs to write a textbook to support the Mastering College course. In 2021 she was sponsored by the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois to complete a Certificate in OER Librarianship through the Open Education Network.
