FACULTY PROFILE

"I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from Olivet Nazarene University in 2007. I then taught high school mathematics courses for five years, 2 at Lincoln-Way and 3 at Manteno. In 2013 I started the Masters in Mathematics program at Governors State University. I received my Masters of Science in Mathematics in 2015. That fall I started teaching part time at Governors. Since becoming full time in 2018 I have taught College Algebra, Applied Calculus, Finite Math, Elementary Statistics, Stat Lab, and Mathematics Laboratory. Education is my passion and math has been my favorite subject. I hope students can see that math does not have to be scary and they can be successful."
