Dr. Raheem Young is a University Lecturer in the College of Health and Human Services, Department of Addication Studies and Behavioral Health in the Division of Community Health at Governors State University. He co-founded the nonprofit Welcome to Fatherhood to help men cope with the pressures and stresses of fatherhood, relationships, and everyday life. Dr. Young is the Chair of the Community Based Public Health Caucus (CBPHC) and the Co-Chair of the Far South Chicago Coalition Health and Mental Wellness Committee. He is a former Albert Schweitzer Fellow and has 10+ years of experience working in the non-profit sector with at-risk youth and other vulnerable populations.
