FACULTY PROFILE

"Hello! Education, teaching, and training are critical factors to a better life. I believe we have a responsibility to others to create a better life that creates a better society. My responsibility is teaching. My passion is to help people learn. My overall goal for success in my life is to help others learn. As an educator, I enjoy helping others reach their goals.

I recently retired as a Senior Training Manager for a major corporation, am a University Lecturer with Governors State University and a part-time Professor with Capella University. I really enjoy working with adult learners because of the rich experiences they bring to the classroom. My research includes learner-centered training and web-based instruction in a corporate environment.

I have increased my knowledge about the adult learner through a doctoral program I completed years ago. I also hold an Ed.D. from Northern Illinois University. I am excited to have the opportunity to interact with our students because they have a lot to bring to the table also!

I enjoy walking (especially along the lake), learning new things, meeting new people, helping others, and old, fast cars. Best wishes to all of you!"
