STAFF PROFILE
"I was born in North East Ohio, the fourth of six children. I grew up all over the country as my father's job had us moving every 3 or so years. I attended many different kinds and sizes of schools. My sophomore class in one state had 1100 students and my senior class in another state had just 149.
I have two children, Cati and Corey. Cati, my daughter, is 27 and has two sons, Zach and Dominic. Corey, my son, is 26 and has one son, Mason. They both live in far away places and I miss
them greatly."

I received my bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education from Columbus State University (formerly Columbus College) in Columbus, GA. I earned my MSED in Curriculum and Instruction and my Ph.D. in Urban Education - Learning and Development from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, OH.
I have worked for the previous 17 years in
higher education for the state of Illinois at another state institution where I
was a faculty member, a department chairperson, and a liaison between the
university and the state on various matters.
