Overview
Attention students! We’re thrilled to announce
our Holiday Card Contest, calling for your
most festive and imaginative artwork. This is
a non-denominational celebration, so let your
creativity shine in any way you celebrate the
season. Submit your designs for a chance to win
exciting prizes and have your work featured in our
holiday greetings. Winners will be selected by a
committee made up of CAS administrators and
faculty. Happy creating!
Contest Rules
- • Artwork must be sent as either a PDF, JPG, or PNG
- • If your artwork is non-digital, you can scan it and send as a JPG, PNG, or PDF. All artwork should be original designs
- • Images used should not be downloaded from the internet due to copyright / royalty rules
- • No photos of people (student, faculty or staff)
- • Make sure artwork submitted is 120 dpi or higher for print purposes
- • Dimensions should be 9” x 6”
- • Artwork must follow Governors State University brand guidelines

How do I submit my entry?
To enter the Holiday Card Contest, please send your card to CASInfo@govst.edu.
Reminders:
- • By entering in the Holiday Card Contest, you agree for your art to be published online and printed if selected as a finalist of this contest by Governors State University and College of Arts and Sciences.
- • All submissions must be entered using your GovState student email account.
How will the judging be done?
Winners will be selected by a committee made up of CAS administrators and faculty.
When does the contest take place?
The contest will take place from September 9 to October 9.
Participants will have the chance to win one of the following prizes:
- 1st place: $100 to Bookstore + CAS Swag bag + 25 printed cards
- 2nd place: $50 to Bookstore + CAS Swag Bag
- 3rd Place: $25 to Bookstore + CAS Swag Bag
