Panopto's integration with Blackboard now allows users to add Panopto in Blackboard courses. This tutorial will provide users with directions on how to add Panopto to Blackboard and how to use content and folders with Panopto's Blackboard integration.

This tutorial will show you how to find and view Panopto recordings in Blackboard. When a Blackboard course has been provisioned to Panopto, the Instructor(s) of the course are granted Creator access to Panopto, and Students in the course are granted Viewer access. Panopto recordings and webcasts automatically publish to the associated Blackboard course, and can be embedded directly into Blackboard by an Instructor.

Panopto provides Blackboard users with an easy method for embedding Panopto recordings directly into their courses. Recordings will continue to stream from Panopto without using any storage space on Blackboard. This article will provide users with directions on how users can embed a video into their Blackboard courses.

Please note: You will only be able to embed videos and/or see folders that you have Creator access to in Panopto, regardless of their sharing settings.

Some Blackboard servers and courses have a Student Preview mode, which allows instructors and admins to view the course as a student. Since an administrator or instructor is still authorized on the Panopto server, they will see Panopto videos that are available to them. As such, this would include videos not available to students.
