Handprint Event Honoring
Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) We invite you to join us for a powerful and thought-provoking
event in recognition of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP)
movement. The Red Handprint Event will shed light on the disproportionately
high rates of violence and disappearances affecting Indigenous women and
communities in North America. The red handprint, often painted across the mouth, serves as a
powerful symbol of silenced voices of missing and murdered Indigenous women
and the ongoing need for justice and awareness. This event will provide an
opportunity to engage with this critical issue through meaningful dialogue
