The Literacy Zone is a special space in the College of Education, under the direction of the School Psychology program designed to provide evidenced-based services to the communities surrounding Governors State University. Graduate students enrolled in the School Psychology program will be delivering the interventions and will be supervised by the faculty who are licensed School Psychologists and/or certified teachers in special education.
The faculty of the School Psychology program have over 60 years of of combined clinical experience across multiple settings including special/regular education classrooms, foster care agencies, juvenile justice facilities, and public/private schools.
