Employment Workshops

The Office of International Services offers workshops for F-1 & J-1 students regarding their employment rights and benefits in the United States. Throughout the year, OIS presents workshops on the process on how to file for Optional Practical Training, work authorization granted through USCIS for a period of 12 months. Find out about when to file, what you need to submit, and regulations specifically pertaining to Optional Practical Training including the 90 days of unemployment rule.
