GovState Meal Plan
A convenient and flexible Meal Plan program that makes it easy for all GovState students to purchase food and beverages on the GovState campus is now available.
The GovState Meal Plan is accepted at:
- the GovState Café
- the C-Store in Prairie Place
Choose the Plan that works for you:
GOLD PLAN - $1500/semester: Designed for the student who doesn’t want to cook and is planning to purchase food or beverages daily. Averages out to approximately $100/week each semester for food/beverage purchases
SILVER PLAN - $1000/semester: Designed for the student with a smaller appetite or who doesn’t plan to eat most meals on campus. Averages out to approximately $67/week each semester for food/beverage purchases
BRONZE PLAN - $500/semester: Designed for the student who is commuting or who only plans to enjoy an occasional meal/beverage on campus. Averages out to approximately $33/week each semester for food/beverage purchases
HOW DOES IT WORK?
STEP 1: Review the 2024-2025 Terms & Conditions. NOTE: STUDENTS WHO CONTRACT FOR A MEAL PLAN ARE CONTRACTING FOR BOTH Fall 2024 AND Spring 2025 SEMESTERS.
STEP 2: Complete the online application by clicking the Apply for a Meal Plan Link below
STEP 3: The Meal Plan charge for the spring semester will be placed on your student account starting in November. If you have sufficient financial aid, the cost of the meal plan will be covered by your financial aid allocation
STEP 4: Meal Plan funds are allocated to your myONECARD for use when the GovState Meal Plan contract starts (August 23, 2024, for the fall semester).
STEP 5: Once your Meal Plan account is funded and the semester starts, use your Meal Plan monies as you would use a debit card. Each time you purchase food and beverages the amount of your purchase is subtracted from your Meal Plan account. You can monitor your balance at any time from your myONECARD online account.
Unlike meal plan programs on many other college campuses, the GovState Meal Plan Program provides you with maximum flexibility and value:
- Use is not limited to only designated meal plans
- Not limited to a specific number of meals/weeks
- Carry-out meals are permitted
- Treat your family and friends to food/beverage in the Café or C-Store
- Meal Plan monies not used by the end of the Fall 2024 semester will be rolled over to the Spring 2025 semester
- Meal Plan monies not used by the end of the Spring 2025 semester will be forfeited.
