Housing application for Prairie Place
The 2024-2025 Housing Application is open to current and newly admitted GovState students.
Please review the Important Rules and Regulations and 2024-2025 University Housing Handbook before submitting your housing application to live in Prairie Place.

Spring 2025 Application
| November 11, 2024 Spring housing application opens to non-residents on November 11, 2024. Those who successfully complete their application and pay their pre-payment should expect to receive their spring housing assignment by no later than the 2nd week of January 2025 (Spring Move-In is scheduled for January 19, 2025). |
Summer 2025 Application
| Summer Application will be available on April 1, 2025. Summer Housing application opens to current residents with academic year only contracts, non-residents, and newly admitted students looking to move on campus for summer 2025. |
Fall 2025 Application
| Fall Application will be available on March 24, 2025. Fall housing application opens to non-residents on March 24, 2025. Students who already live in housing will have access to this application in mid-February and will receive an email from GovState Housing. Room assignments will be sent out in the Summer. |
Students who apply for housing starting at a time other than the start of the fall semester are only contractually obligated to complete the balance of time on the contract they sign and are billed only for the time they live in University Housing.
