Messages from Dedicated Alumni:

Dawn Wolf, Math Teacher at Bloom High School

"I completed both my graduate and undergraduate Math degrees at GSU. Governors State offered me an opportunity to start a new career in teaching. The courses worked around my busy schedule, and I made good friends in the small classes. I found support from knowledgeable professors who knew me personally. Upon completion, I was able to apply my knowledge in both the middle and high school classrooms where I easily found employment."

Troy Knoblauch, Math Teacher at Lincoln Way High School

"I obtained both my B.A. and M.S. in Mathematics from Governors State University. Throughout my time at GSU, I have always appreciated the relatively small class size and the fact that the professors are approachable and willing to help. Whether I was preparing/dealing with the challenges that student teaching presented, working through difficult concepts in class, or revising my thesis, I could always count on great support and feedback from the GSU community."
