This comprehensive online 50-hour program will prepare
students to work as a pharmacy technician in a retail or other pharmacy setting
and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam. Student are given 6 months to complete this course, and enrollment is ongoing. Pharmacy Technicians usually start at a retail pharmacy, and can progress to work in closed-door pharmacies (hospice care), compound pharmacies (special medical needs), hospital pharmacies, or become a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (oversee the processing and paying of prescription drug claims).
