Event Overview
Olver created the Mental Freedom®, a psychoeducation approach to counseling and coaching, to provide people with the tools they need to handle life’s challenges.
Attendees will learn:
- 1. The difference between responsibility and response-ability
- 2. The purpose of trust in relationships
- 3. The difference between disempowering and empowering language
- 4. Narratives that build up self-esteem, rather than tearing it down
- 5. The purposes of emotional and physical pain with biological causes
- 6. The inherent benefits of painful experiences
This special event is open to GovState faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. This is a great workshop for counselors, teachers, and coaches.
Workshop participants will earn six CEs.
We hope to have you join us!
