The Office of Career Services hosts a Career Fair in April each year. This is an excellent opportunity for job seekers to meet employers from the southern suburbs, the metropolitan Chicago area and border areas of Indiana in order to explore job opportunities and to discuss career interests and plans.

Career Fairs also offer the job seeker an opportunity to evaluate potential employers or discover employers they may not have previously considered. Our Career Fairs are open to currently enrolled students, alumni and community members, as well as students from other colleges and universities seeking employment. Admission is free. The only requirements for applicants is that they bring plenty of resumes and dress professionally.

      Orland Township Fall Job Fair on November 11, 2021    

    The Illinois Department of Corrections is excited to offer an opportunity to the Career Services departments, professors and students who are majoring in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Mental Health, Nursing and other related fields. We would like to invite you to tour our newest facility, a world class Inpatient Treatment Center in Joliet, Illinois. The attachment has the description of this state-of-the-art correctional hospital that will offer inpatient services, including programming and treatment for those in our custody who are seriously mentally ill.   

     *Schedule a time within the guidelines below to tour the new facility, talk about our programming and learn more about the direction in which our agency is moving.    

    Who: Faculty & Students involved in the following majors: Criminal Justice, Sociology and Psychology or a related field, 18 years or older.  

    When: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9a & 4pm starting November 16th through the end the end of the year, Saturday, November 20th 9a and Saturday, December 16th 9am
