Professional and Personal Development Refund Policy:

  • A 100% refund will be issued if an advanced notice is given by the student 5 or more business days before the start of the training. Otherwise, no refunds will be issued for no-shows.  

  • Students that cancel their enrollment less than 5 business days before the start of the training can receive a credit toward another training and must pay any remaining balance for the new training.  
  • A credit toward another training will be issued if a written request is received via email within 3 business days. Your written request should be sent to continuinged@govst.edu.
  • A 100% refund will be issued for training(s) that are cancelled by the University. Refunds will be issued by the same method used for the initial payment.

The Knowledge Exchange Refund Policy:

    • A 100% refund will be issued for an advanced notice 5 or more business days before the start of the class. 

    • A 100% refund will be issued for classes that are canceled by The Knowledge Exchange.
    • If absent for 3 or more classes during an 8-week class, please notify Suzanne Patterson at 708.534.4393 and fees will be credited to a future session.
    • If an entire 8-week class is missed due to extreme circumstances, pleases notify Suzanne Patterson at 708.534.4393 and a full refund will be issued. 

     

    Group Cohort Training Refund Policy:

     

    • A 100% refund is issued for non-credit course registrations cancelled within 5 or more business days before the start of the training. 
    • Students who cancel their enrollment within 5 business days after the start of the training and funds will be credited towards another training (students are responsible for any remaining balance on the cost of the new training).  This credit is issued within 3 business days of a cancelled training upon written/email request to continuinged@govst.edu.
    • If the cancellation results in the minimum group required to run the course, the partnering organization will be given a chance to replace the student with another registrant, otherwise an additional fee may be assessed. 
    • A 100% refund will be issued for training(s) that are cancelled by the University.
    •  Refunds will be issued by the same method used for the initial payment.
